The Tour
The property is entered from the street through a small front garden into an entrance hallway with space to hang a few coats. This leads onto a generous double reception room with high ceilings, wooden floors, recessed spotlighting, a bay window with plantation shutters and fireplace giving a central focus point to the room. There is a cupboard under the stairs giving useful space for storage and a guest cloakroom as well.
This double reception room leads onto an open plan kitchen dining area with grey stone tile flooring throughout and a generous central island encompassing a stone work surface with overhang to give room for stools underneath. The kitchen gives plenty of storage space, a hot tap, an integrated Siemens Fridge freezer, Siemens microwave, Siemens oven with heating tray, Siemens gas hob with five burners and Siemens dishwasher. The kitchen then leads through from a double glazed French door onto the South facing garden which is of a good size and gives plenty of area for barbecues, planting and seating.
On the first floor half landing is the first bedroom with partially vaulted ceilings and the benefit of French doors leading onto a bright South facing roof terrace. On the next half landing is a further double bedroom with high ceilings and recessed lighting, and the principal bedroom with plenty of built-in storage and double wooden sash windows facing towards the front of the property. The next half landing is a family bathroom with built-in vanity unit, freestanding bath and integrated WC. This room also has lovely views of the neighbours gardens and rooftops the surrounding house.
On the top floor is a further double bedroom with double glazed French doors leading to a Julia balcony also with reaching views of the surrounding rooftops. There is plenty of under eaves storage and a tiled shower room next door with vanity unit, heated towel rail and WC.
On another note, the owners removed the chimney stacks in two of the bedrooms and the kitchen side of the reception/dining room to create more internal usable space. The property also benefits from a water softener.

“We have been very happy in this house - we have really enjoyed its proximity to the wonderful open spaces of Clapham Common, Battersea Park, the new Battersea Power Station shopping and dining complex as well as the Tube, with a short hop over to Sloane Square and the King’s Road. The road itself is wide with plenty of parking especially at the weekends and the sense of local community is strong. We rebuilt the house to a high specification, maximising the space and light flow into the property."
